From this Saturday (26th July) and occurring during the last Saturday of every month until 29th November, Covent Garden’s Moti Mahal Indian restaurant will host cookery classes led by head chef Anirudh Arora. More commonly known as Chef Ani, Anirudh will share his kitchen and his knowledge as a master of Indian cuisine with small groups of eight guests with informal two-hour classes starting at 10.30am. Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to make yummy dishes such as tandoori chicken supreme with mint and coriander, crab cakes with lime leaf, pan fried red mullet with poppy seed and smoked aubergine mash, rogan josh, saffron rice and baked yoghurt with figs and cardamom. Afterward, guests will be able to enjoy their creations over a three-course lunch and wine pairing session with wine consultant, Richard Weiss.

Moti Mahal’s cookery classes cost £55 per person. Visit the restaurant’s website for more information and to book.
