Love London is a "green-up" festival packed with 3 weeks of "eco-events'. We mentioned the Green Tours last week but there's much much more going on, starting with the Recycled Sculpture Show at ZSL which hosted the launch of the festival last Thursday.
Previously lumbered with the title "London Sustainability Weeks", Love London's snappier current form covers events as diverse as naked bike riding, fair trade tea dancing, a locally sourced, midsummer feast in Brockwell Park, an eco-design and fashion fair, Open Garden Squares weekend and much more.
Somewhat confusingly but at least complementarily it's also Recycle Week which has, as its flagship, the Southbank coke can Big Ben we mentioned at the weekend.
Love is all around us in the form of worthy, greeny beany, fun and educational activities so show you care, and get out there.
