Weekend Round-Up

Here’s what we’ve learned this weekend whilst you’ve been stuffing your faces with kedgeree, hot cross bunnies and eggy-weggies:

There has been a huge march for Tibet in central London.

Red Ken is awfully-Green-Ken these days, and he’s pretty pissed off with the government’s apathy and hostility to his general eco-scheme of things.

The Church just isn’t hot news any more: following a priestly mugging in East London last week, it would seem that attacks on vicars and church property receive little attention.

Our Easter weekend crime round-up sees a fatal stabbing in Kingsland High Street, a fatal beating at Sudbury Hill Tube Station, and a murder in Harlow. Although police are cracking down on gun totin’ critters this Easter. So that’s alright then.

Um, we suspect that you might already have noticed this (unless you are reading this in the Caribbean, you jammy so-and-so) the weather isn’t very nice. Londonist’s fingers are almost too cold to type. AND there seem to be jitters about flooding.
