Londonist Internet Itinerary

I'm sure someone clever once said, “all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy”... and we all know how hard Londoners work. It seems only fair that we should have a little playtime too. In this post I’m going to share with you my current three favourite online games – a little light entertainment to take your mind off that impending deadline.

My favourite at the moment is the tremendous... Bloxorz... on the surface a basic puzzle game, but spend a few minutes playing to discover that it's full of fiendish secrets. The look and design of the game is flawless and great sound effects really add to the polished feel. There are 33 levels to play and each one is more cunning than the last. Top notch.

Another puzzle based game here, but this one is a little on the crazy side... Hosi Saga 2 is actually several little games in one. The goal is to find a hidden star or stars, but each time the challenge is very different. Sometimes it's super simple and others... well let's just say I couldn't finish it.

Lastly I thought I’d liven things up a bit with a little action... Nanobots is more in the realms of a 'shoot 'em up' so maybe not a game I’d play that much, but good to let off some steam. There's not that much here to make it stand out from the crowd except it's slick and fast with some cool graphics. Bring it!

Well that's game over for me... so I’ll leave you to get a little practice in. Enjoy London.
