It's not the first place you would think of when looking for love but for those with a questing heart, the place to go is Euston Road.
art2heart is the dating organisation that aims to bring people together through art and culture. The idea is both lofty and lovely: each month, 150 people, sometimes more, gather for monthly art2heart events held at prestigious museums or galleries where art can be admired and discussed with like-minded people. On the list of regular venues are the V&A, Tate Modern, Wallace Collection and The Saatchi Gallery as well a few 'guest' venues. Such as the Wellcome Collection, which is hosting the next art2heart event.
It just so happens that the Wellcome Collection is hosting an exhibition about the heart, which we highly recommend as well as the Wellcome Collection in general . This great new gallery space for central London is going to be filled with cultured, enlightened, engaging and single people tomorrow night for the August 2007 art2heart event, and we expect some lucky singletons will find out exactly what is going on with their beating hearts as they peruse the exhibition alongside someone quite alarmingly attractive.
For gentlemen, tickets can still be purchased, so book now! Now! For ladies, there are spaces still available on the waiting list. Non-members and members are welcome but for those interested, there are two levels of membership that offer reduced entry price to each event and special benefits such as a personal Account Manager (Intimate Membership) or access to online profiles of other members (Relaxed Membership).
art2heart at the Wellcome Collection, Wednesday 1 August, from 6.30pm. For more information about art2heart and to book tickets, go to the website here.
