Fashion can, for the most part be really quite annoying what with its coke snorting, bitching and falling over in heels (and that's just the boys). However, there are some people who deserve to be celebrated. Whilst Free Range is going on one side of town, Royal College of Art graduate turned miliner Philip Treacy has teamed up with photographer Norman Parkinson for their own show at the Eleven Gallery.

For those of you who don't know, Philip Treacy is one of the most celebrated men in fashion. He's been British Accessories Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards no less than five times. Quite a piece of work for a guy who makes hats. But then, we're not talking cute little berets here, but more like full scale precision engineered pieces of architecture. Seriously.

As for Norman Parkinson, well he's snapped Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor to name a few. Putting the two together is quite a team. We're talking two of Britains most influential fashion figures in one exhibition at the same time.

If you do go along, we don't think it would be inappropriate to wear a hat.
