Not had enough opportunity this summer to wear leather trousers and sing along to aging rock stars? Well now's your chance! But believe us, if you can get yourself down to Hyde Park Calling on 23rd and 24th August this will actually be a good thing.
Saturday sees Peter Gabriel headlining (are you singing 'Sledgehammer' at your desk too?) and there's a bit of easy listening from Crowded House too. They're supported throughout the day by the likes of The Ghosts.
As if that wasn't enough you get a whole new line-up on Sunday. Leather trouser clad OAPs Aerosmith will be headlining (now you're singing 'Walk This Way' aren't you?) and you'll also get the chance to see Jet and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell (he was the guy who did the Casino Royal track you sang for weeks).
You'll have loads of new undiscovered bands to discover and you can wear your leather trousers and feel like you quite fit in. (Until you get the tube home.)
We also have it on good authority that Gareth Gates will be there, but don't let that keep you away, that is obviously the perfect time to go the bar.
Hyde Park calling is being held from 23rd - 24th August. Nearest Tube Hyde Park Corner. Gates open at 14.00. More tickets have been released for this event but are selling out quickly.
