Monday night sees Londonist favourite Mika return to the capital for a triumphant one night stand at Shepherds Bush Empire. Tickets are sold out, but some are available for face-value exchange on Scarlet Mist

Tuesday sees Interpol, the New York doom-lovers goth out Camden’s Koko as they do a one off date in support of their forthcoming new album “Our Love To Admire”. Tickets are long gone, and hard to come by via other sources.Cornish four piece Thirteen Senses make an appearance at KCLSU on Wednesday night with their epic tunes as part of a short weeklong tour in support of new album “Contact”. Tickets are still available from the usual outlets. Witty lyrics are the order of the day when I am Kloot play the Islington Bar Academy on Thursday night, with tickets sold out you’ll have to give Scarlet Mist a go.If you want something free this week, Virgin are putting on three free gigs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Islington Academy with unsigned bands who are finalists in the “Road To V” competition. Tuesday sees The Jubilees and Bo Pepper play, Wednesday has Rosalita, New Cassettes and Johnny Foreigner, and Thursday sees the brilliant Outside Royalty grace the stage along with Dylan James and Maxfield. Tickets are allocated on a first come first served basis by texting the number of tickets you need (maximum to four) to 80150. As an example, if you'd like three tickets for the 15th May simply text 9x3. More information on the official Road to V website. Brixton Academy plays host to two nights of pop-rock on Friday and Saturday nights, when Good Charlotte and Funeral for a Friend play. Tickets are sold out for Good Charlotte but are still available for Funeral for a Friend.Last, but by no means least, Klaxons play three shows in two days at Shepherds Bush Empire on Friday and Saturday: their standard two evenings and also a matinee on Saturday at 3pm. All three shows are well and truly sold out unfortunately.
