Competition: Win With The Woodentops
Rolo

If you haven't already heard, The Woodentops are back, reforming for their first live dates in 14 years.

Unlike other reformed bands, The Woodentops line-up will be the same people - front man Rolo, Benny Staples on drums, Frank de Freitas on bass and Simon Mawby on guitar - that scored a string of hits in the 80s, including Good Thing, Well Well Well and Move Me.

They disbanded in 1992 but the enduring devotion of fans like Radiohead, Franz

Ferdinand and David Bowie ensured that their shadowy presence was always lurking somewhere in the music scene background, and now they're back.

Their first gig is at the 100 Club next Wednesday, 13 September and there are very few tickets left, so get your skates on if you want to see this one. You can get your tickets at http://www.wegottickets.com/event/11011

If you next Wednesday's no good for you, then you can catch The Woodentops at The Luminaire on Thursday instead. Seetickets has tickets for that one or, if you're feeling lucky, punk, enter our competition.

On offer are 4 pairs of tickets to the Luminaire gig and 2 copies of the exclusive tour CD Vinegar, a 17-track live compilation spanning The Woodentops' career. Apart from this competition, the tour CD can only be obtained at the gigs. And nobody goes away empty handed on this show because if you don't win, you'll still be entitled to special 2-for-1 pricing on tickets for the Luminaire gig, so if you've got any sense, enter our competition and don't bother using the Seetickets link we put up.

To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets or a copy of the CD you just need to give us the answer to the following question:

Which of these is the name of the front man of The Woodentops?

A. Polo

B. Rolo

C. Mint Aero
