Club-ist: We Are Your Friends
Clubbing

The clubbing part of Londonist are about to jump in a car and head down to dance to Sasha and only the bloody Pet Shop Boys at Bestival (thanks to everyone who entered our competition to win tickets, but you should have read the date - it was 2005!). Before we whizz down to Portsmouth though, we thought we'd better fill those of you left in London as to what's going on this weekend.

Tonight, the only place to be is Brick Lane's 93 Feet East where Adventures Close To Home present Brazilian popstars

Cansai De Ser Sexy making their UK debut. If you haven't heard of them and don't know what all the fuss is about, then check out this track and fall in love. CSS will be playing at midnight and will be joined on the bill by Professor Green, Shakes, Nadia Ksabia and Graziela. Presales are sold out but if you get to the venue from 8 you might be lucky. Nearest tube is Liverpool Street and entry is £6

On Saturday, female DJ duo Daughters of Kaos relaunch their night Club Motherfucker. Formerly monthly residents Upstairs at The Garage, they've used the Garage refurbishment to take the chance to move venues permanently to Stoke Newington's Bardens Boudoir. DJs will play alternative indie and electro and Lone Lady, PsychoFags in Binbags, Ebony Bones and Pre will be performing on the night. The venue isn't the easiest to find, you the nearest overground is Dalston Kingland and then it's a five minutes walk up Kingsland Road. Alternatively buses 67, 76, 149 and 243 should drop you off right outside. Entry is £4 before 9 and £6 after.

And for once we're talking about Sunday clubbing thanks to new night . Formed by Casper of influential music blog Floukids. The club, which runs from 3pm, is held at Chalk Farm's Lock Tavern, and features stars of music blogs such as our favourites Radioclit and Headphone Sex. They will also be joined by a special superstar guest DJ. We can't tell you who it is, but they're playing at Bestival and you've probably been dancing to their remix of an indie song for the last year. Entry is free and the nearest tube is Chalk Farm.
