Next month our very own Lady Sovereign will be traveling to the States to support The Streets... and this bloke really really wants to party with her.
helpmegetrandomwithladysovereign.com is a website set up purely and simply to aid someone called Zach Slow to seduce Lady Sov with "bling, blunts, and lots of creative hijinx" when she travels to San Francisco:
To make this escapade more exciting, I'm only going to spend money on Lady Sovereign that I raise through this site. So assuming Lady Sovereign comes through, I'm going to be partying with her on your dime. Everything we order at dinner, any movies we go to, or any cabs (limos?) we take will be paid for by your contributions!
You get to help me decide how this evening with Lady Sovereign turns out. If nobody donates any money, I'll be stuck showing up with two 40ounces and crumpets in my hand.
Judging by Zach's journal it doesn't look like the fundraising is going all that well (an average donation about $0.005 per visitor at the last count) bu we wish him all the luck in the world.
