No not the latest customer service policy from the Met, but a strange photographic treasure hunt, now in its second year.

Rather than running around EC2 looking for chocolate eggs or cryptic clues, registered teams of 2 to 4 people, will be given a list of 10 locations to photograph in as inventive a way as possible. Prizes will be given at the end of the day for the best entries. So you'll probably be shooting on digital then. It's £10 to register, which you should be thinking about doing today and your team will need to be at Cargo for 11.30 on April 9th. You can buy tickets and find out anything else you need to know here.

Last year over 20 teams participated with competition fierce. It sounds like a hoot, and if any of you do decide to join up please let us know how it goes. Even if you don't win, it's a great way to boost your Londonist Flickr Group profile. It warms the fair cockles to know that Londoners are getting off their arses and doing something interesting with the city and this kind of activity as well as numerous other ways to spend your time in ways you'd never have imagined can be found by signing up to the rather wonderful Pick Me Up.
