Booking Ahead

Don't buy anyone any Christmas presents. Spend your money on these gigs instead:

So lovely they even have their own made up language, Sigur Ros play a night at the Hammersmith Apollo on March 29, with all manner of collaborators in the pipeline.

The Glastonbury stealing Secret Machines are playing a low-key show at the Garage on January 18th in support of their forthcoming 10 Silver Drops. They're also releasing a limited edition 12" in the UK of the Londonista song for 2006: Alone, Jealous And Stoned on the 16th.

And if for some reason, best known to yourselves, you haven't yet bought tickets for nest year's ATP, the news that Dinosaur Jr have replaced Ween as the second weekend's curators should have you scurrying for the credit cards. Information and line up for weekend one is here, and weekend two, here.

And finally tickets are now on sale for the Shockwaves London shows in association with our favourite music weekly. Dates and shows are:

February 10 (Koko): Clap Your Hands Say Yeah / Dr Dogg

14 (Koko): The Zutons / Vincent Vincent & The Villains / Fields

16 (Brixton Academy): The Magic Numbers / The Concretes / Shout Out Louds

20 (Koko): Biffy Clyro

22 (Astoria): Editors

24 (Hammersmith Palais): Nine Black Alps / Test Icicles / The Longcut / Wolfmother
