Waking up mid-afternooon on both Saturday and Sunday last week left us content that we had fulfilled any clubbing needs we had. This is true in particular of Saturday night, which saw us go to 3 different clubs across London all in one night. We are crazy party animals. Fact!
Tonight though we finally feel we've recovered and so we're off to see former Skunk Anansie frontwoman Skin doing a PA at our regular Friday night haunt Popstarz. Now hold your horses before you think urgh, random new solo Skin stuff. 1. It might be good. 2. She's doing at least 3 Skunk Anansie songs. Number 2 makes us very happy indeed and we've got our fingers crossed for Twisted, Hedonism and Secretly.
Alternatively ecletic indie / pop / everything night Buttoned Down Disco is back after a month break and will be taking place at a secret Camden location. In order to get in you need an invite from their website, so head on over, sign up, and then go boogie to a night of brilliant, random songs.
And finally if you just need some good old pumping house music, our pick for Friday night would be Somewhere at Neighbourhood over in Westbourne Grove. They've just poached formed 'The End' resident Mr C to join Jo Mills & Ricky Cox for what we hear is a night full of nice people and good music. If you go, let us know how it went.
We'll be back tomorrow with some ideas of how to spend Saturday night!
