Win Bestival Tickets And A Digital Camera

Thanks for all the entries which still keep flooding in, but this competition ended in September 2005!

No plans for next weekend? Fancy a trip down to the Isle Of Wight for the Bestival? With a bright, shiny new Olympus Mju 800 digital camera? You do? Well, boy are you in the right place courtesy of those fine folks at Olympus.

Bestival official sponsor Olympus is offering a pair of tickets to the acclaimed Isle of Wight festival. Acts this year include Mylo, The Magic Numbers, Super Furry Animals, Royksopp, The Go! Team, British Sea Power, Londonist faves The Pipettes, The Earlies, 2 Many DJs and many more. On top of that the winner will also get a Mju (pronounced Myou) 800 8 megapixel camera with its Bright Capture low light function to capture the weekend's rapture. The passes are for all three days (September 9,10 and 11th) but you'll need to bring your own tent and toilet paper.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winnning is email us here at Londonist Music (londonist.music@gmail.com) by 4pm on Monday 5th with the answer to the following fiendishly difficult question.

How many megapixels does the Mju 800 have? Is it?

A: 8

B: 8 hundred

C: 8 squillion gazillion

Oh, and please remember to put Bestival in the subject line, and remember to include your address. And good luck.

Alex

Are Londonist contributors and their friends and relatives allowed to apply? Say I entered under a false name and email address, would that make me a bad person?

Mark

Londonistas, their families, friends, enemies, pets and people they randomly bumped into on the street this morning are all welcome. Especially since I'm going to win it anyway...

Kidding folks - this will be a fair draw.

Alex, if you entered with a false name and email it wouldn't really matter whether you were a bad person or not because we'd never know. It would be between you, your conscience and the Universe.

Of course karmically it would also mean you'd never win the lottery.

I enjoyed your site so much so i have to say it to you.
