After a busy week being blown into small pieces by the Todd/Oxbow show; breaking into warm smiles with Teenage Fanclub and being bowled over by newbies The Delta Blues - all of whom have been mentioned in these here pages, dear readers - it's time to look into the rock crystal ball and see what's coming up.

So tonight you have Nine Black Alps throwing their album launch party for highly anticipated debut Everything Is at Club NME in Kokos. Expect some solid rock of the alternative variety.

Also on sale today, finally, are tickets for the Zappa plays Zappa show at the Royal Albert Hall on 2nd November. Need we say more? Do what you have to: credit card / ticket agency / awesome show.

Grolsch - that's the beer, not some dodgy Emo band, get their turn to jump on the sponsorship bandwagon as they announce the line up for the Grolsch Summer Set at Somerset House this August:

* Starsailor (2)

* Athlete (3 )

* Supergrass (4)

* Idlewild (5)

* Prodigy (6)

* The Tears (7)

Presale tickets from here today. Londonist recommeds Brett and Bernard back in action and back on form with The Tears. The others all put on good show so if you like 'em you'll probably see 'em. We'll refrain from any Starsailor Stop! Stop! They're not ready yet comments.

Other new tours announced this week include The Streets at Brixton on the 19th August and Duran Duran at Earl's Court just in time for Christmas on the 21st December. Woo and as they say round Londonist Towers Hoo.

Elsewhere over the weekend, well, Friday and Saturday, we'd recommend Tori Amos is at Hammersmith and System Of A Down at Brixton. Both shows are sold out but if you can find tickets then worth the outlay. From the sublime to the ridiculous but we'll leave you to work out which is which. Ciao Babies.
