All the news services which ran with the Brosnan to Remain as Bond story yesterday may be wiping the egg of their collective journalistic face today as it's just been announced that Daniel Craig has been offered a three film contract by Barbara Brocolli.
Craig, the star of such hits as Shockers: the Visitor and Occasional, Strong was up against Clive 'tell me when to smile' Owen for the role but the Chancer star apparently feared that playing Bond "might limit his career".
God, if there was ever a career that badly needed "limiting"...
Just to reassure anyone that may be worried, Londonist has it on good authority that Craig's Bond will not be allowed to levitate.
