In our new role as London Line contributors, we are in a position to let you know about the new paper's photographic competition.
Basically, each week the Line will be asking Londoners to send in their photographs of the city and the best one will then be featured on the back page of the following issue.
As we know a lot of London-based photographers read Londonist (just look at the success and quality of our Flickr group) then we thought we'd give you a head start on everyone else.
If you want to send London Line a photo for consideration then you can email them on [email protected] with "photos of anything at all... but not rude" (they obviously know what kind of people read our site!).
P.S. The image above is from the Flickr page of Pony in the Air who has apparently "been taking pictures of the Evening Standard billboards for years"...but went ignored by us, so this is us making amends.
