This Friday, 18th March, sees the inaugural session of The Breadcrumb Trail, a club night hosted by The Colonies. The Colonies are one of Londonist's favourite unsigned bands (click here to read the interview we published in January), and this is the perfect opportunity for you lot to find out why. Not only do you get to see this great band for a trifling £3 entry fee, but you also get to see John Steam (an Isle of Wight trio) and a MASS (that's Mystery Acoustic Singer Songwriter). The Seven Inches of Love DJ collective will be filling those otherwise awkward gaps before and after acts. Expect to hear them spinning everything from Fourtet to the Four Freshman, Booker T to British Sea Power, and Clinic to Can. For those with the sense to line their stomachs during a five hour drinking session, food is available.

The Breadcrumb Trail club night at the Lowdown, basement of the Albany pub, next to Great Portland Street tube station. Doors 7pm-2am, entry £3.
