We love a bit of public outrage news here at Londonist and it's even better if there's a bit of nudity involved. Which is why we were so happy to read today that a new art exhibition has rocked Harrow to its very core.

The exhibition, 16 student drawings in a mixture of watercolours, oil, pencil and chalk, entitled Man and Woman, is currently being shown in the bar area of the Harrow Arts Centre.

The drawings show a nude couple posing together and has caused eight complaints in in just one day (including one from a woman who claimed it "put her off her coffee"). That consititutes a furore on the scale of Lady Chatterly's Lover as far as Harrow is concerned.

So what's all the fuss about? Could it be that the woman in the drawing is black while the man is white? We couldn't possibly say.

To Harrow Arts Centre's credit they have said that they have no intention of taking the drawings down.
