In our apparently new role as the official London blog about football shirts, Londonist would like to bring your attention to news that Chelsea FC have dumped Umbro as their kit sponsor five years early.
Umbro's share price took a dive off the back of this announcement, but Chelsea will pay them around £25 Million, which should dull the corporate pain somewhat while they wait for Adidas or Nike to take over.
Chelsea are also without a shirt sponsor at the end of this season after Air Emirates has taken their branding across town to Arsenal and their swanky new stadium, though there are rumours that Chelsea may do away with a sponsor altogether as lets face it, they're not short of the cash.
Even though this is unlikely Londonist would gladly welcome suggestions to what could replace the traditional corporate logo, though you would have to go some way to beat our suggestion:
