Calling all budding Torvilles and Deans: today is the opening day of the ice rink at Somerset House.
Probably the city's classiest Christmas venue, the rink is open from 10am to 10pm every day up until Christmas Eve when times start to vary a bit until New Years Eve when the rink closes.
Skate sessions are every hour, on the hour and cost either just under or just over ten quid, depending on whether you're there in the datyime or the evening.
Skating lessons are also available.
