David Fathers

David, originally from the north east of England, has lived in various parts of north London, including Muswell Hill and North Finchley, for over 35 years now.

He is an illustrator, map-maker, walker and author of three guide books to the waterways of London: The Regent’s Canal, The London Thames Path and London's Hidden Rivers. Through his books he is 'discovering' and mapping the metropolis in his own particular way and hopefully getting others to explore new parts of London.
