Stu was born in the centre of London in a hospital that has since been demolished (the developers claim this had nothing to do with him, now please leave us alone). He grew up in Chingford and has lived in Soho, Holborn, Bloomsbury, Wapping and ‘fashionable’ Nunhead. He now lives in a secret location in Leyton. Alongside his theatre reviews for Londonist he also writes fiction and films about the city.
