In Pictures: London Pubs Then And Now

Despite the concern that London's pubs are disappearing fast, plenty have weathered the times.

Brewery Young's (they moved out of London a while back, but their legacy lives on in the whimsical Ram Brewery) has released images of some of its most fetching London pubs: the first dating back to the early 1900s, the second, from 2016.

In some cases, the facade has changed very little. As has the way punters pose.

The Ship, Wandsworth

The Albert, Kingston

The Grove, Balham

The Nightingale, Balham

The Rose & Crown, Wimbledon

Note: this photo only dates back to the 1970s.

The Wood House, Dulwich
