Show Whether You're In Or Out...With Food

Leave or remain? It's all anyone's going to be talking about this week, but did you know you can show your EU referendum position through food and drink? Several restaurants have EU-themed choices on their menus. So what do you fancy?

Square Pie

Choose between In and Out pies until polling day, with results available on Square Pie's website — in a square pie chart. (At the time of writing, Out is on 53%.) The Out pie is made from British beef, 'banned wonky veg' and home-brewed ale, with the In pie consisting of Toulouse, chorizo, bratwurst and pepperoni sausage.

The Diner

Two burgers to pick between at The Diner: the Dave (French Charolais beef topped with Swiss cheese and caramelised onions, served on a brioche bun with garlic frites: €12.76) and the Boris (British beef topped with applewood smoked cheese and bacon, served on a floury bap with roast potatoes and gravy: £10). In standings published on 2 June, Dave was kicking Boris's arse in every Diner outlet.

Herman Ze German

The wurst sellers are making their feelings perfectly clear with Ze Big Brexit Dog, which is half the size and double the price (at £9.90). We can't imagine many of them have been sold.

The Blues Kitchen

If all this argument is getting you down, have the best of both worlds at The Blues Kitchen: the burger of the month is called The Clash (Should I Stay Or Should I Go) and is a double stack, with English mustard, pickled onions, saveloy and red Leicester on one side, and sauerkraut, brie and chorizo on the other. Comes with a side of Fren-chips, all for £15.50.

Hush

There's a special Brexit menu being served at Hush in Mayfair on 23 June. For £45, choose between three courses of French or British inspired cuisine and a glass of champagne. It's Dorset crab vs steak tartare, crème brûlée vs sticky toffee pudding, French vs English fizz. Book in advance.
