Introducing The Commuter Bus With A Spin Class On It

We can't lie: when we first saw this, we checked it wasn't 1 April.

It seems 'revolutionary' London gym 1Rebel is planning on bringing the gym to your morning bus ride.

The idea is to fit a fleet of London buses with spin bikes, and travel through London's popular commuter routes, helping time-poor Londoners make the most of their morning commutes.

A similar idea is running in Boston in the States, offering up to eight people the chance to do a spin class on a bus at parties and special events. It's yet to run as a regular commuter service.

The London version would pick up commuters from four different locations (Stratford, Kensington High Street, Angel and Clapham Common), and finish at the 1Rebel studio in St Mary Axe in the City, giving riders the chance to pop in for a shower before getting to their desks.

1Rebel is in talks with a various bus companies, and plans to launch the program (which is yet to gain approval) in early autumn.

Sounds like the Central line has some competition for the prize title of 'London's Sweatiest Commute.'
