Bank Holiday Family Fun: Tudors At The Tower Family Festival

Head to the Tower of London this Bank Holiday weekend for plenty of family-friendly fun at a special Tudor-themed festival.

It's 1533, and Anne Boleyn is being crowned queen. Here's your chance to join in the coronation celebrations.

You can help Henry VIII's courtiers plan the day, embark on a royal quest, take part in a masque, learn to be a court fool or pick up 'knightly' skills and be presented to Queen Anne.

In addition, you can meet Tudor blacksmiths, cooks and stonemasons; try your hand at candle-making; or have a go with a crossbow.

Why not pack a picnic and make a family day of it? Everyone loves the Tudors.

Tudors at the Tower Family Festival runs from 30 April to 2 May, 10am to 5pm. All the activities are included in the price of a ticket to the Tower. Under 5s go free. Visit the Tower of London website to find out more.
