The book front cover.

If you're walking around Brockley over the next couple of weeks, take a close look at the windows. Artist Tom Berry has decorated a number of panes (map) with designs from his new book, On The Other Side Of Town.

You've probably seen Tom's handiwork before; he's behind the cover art on John Lanchester's novel Capital. The point of the art trail is to drum up some enthusiasm, and hopefully some Kickstarter cash, to send On The Other Side Of Town to the printers. If you like what you see, help support the project by pledging here.

From what we've seen, this new children's book contains a mesmerising combination of playful poetry about the urban real, mixed with super-detailed drawings of twisted buildings and cityscapes. Take a look at the video below, and see what you think.
