DLR Train Turns All The Colours Of The Rainbow

First it was a bus. Then it was at taxi. Now, the latest form of London transport to go multicoloured is a DLR train. The lively livery of the two-car train marks Pride in London — celebrations of which are already in full swing.

Martyn Loukes, chair of TfL’s LGBT staff network group, OUTbound, said: "The wrapping of the DLR train completes a trio of our rainbow themed projects this year to celebrate London’s diversity. This is another great example of two organisations working together to celebrate LGBT staff and customers."

If you'd like to ride the rainbow train (and let's face it, you do), it's in service now on the Canary Wharf to Stratford route. It will continue to wend its razzle-dazzle way along the network until later this year.

See the train undergoing its incandescent transformation in the video above.

And if you're still deliberating over what do do for Pride this year, we've written a guide.
