The 24-hour bus strike planned for today has been called off after drivers belonging to the Unite Union and bosses at Tower Transit agreed to meet conciliation service Acas to discuss pay.
Over 20 routes across the capital were due to be affected by the industrial action, at a time when many people were about to start back at work after the Christmas break.
Drivers say they get different rates of pay depending on which bus company they work for, and they're angry that it's unfair.
Tower Transit says its pay offer is "perfectly reasonable".
A strike on 29 December affected routes across east London.
