Commuters and tourists travelling through Piccadilly Circus station on 8-19 April will be able to take away more than sore ribs as a souvenir.

Art on the Underground will launch the first ever pop-up retail space in the station, where shoppers will be able to buy 15 limited edition artwork prints.

All of the art pieces available were specially commissioned by Art on the Underground for 15 for 150, a collection of 15 underground artworks celebrating London Underground’s 150th anniversary last year.

The shop is launched in collaboration with Own Art, an initiative that offers interest-free loans to members of the public wanting to buy art. Money raised from sales at the pop-up shop will help support Art on the Underground’s programme in the future.

Art on the Underground print shop opens 8-19 April (closed Mondays).
