In yet another salute for the London Underground's 150th, Royal Mail have released a set of commemorative stamps. The six designs all use familiar images from the century and a half of operations, from the opening of the Paddington to Farringdon stretch in 1863 up to the opening of Canary Wharf station some 13 years ago. A further mini-sheet of four stamps depicting Tube posters is also available (not pictured).
The stamps go on sale at post offices today, or through Royal Mail's website.
