Every year, fans of photography should mark at least two exhibitions in their calendars: one is the ongoing Wildlife Photographer of the Year and the other is the Landscape Photographer of the Year. This latter exhibition contains the best in landscape photography across the UK taken in the past year. It goes on display in the first floor foyer of the National Theatre, and is always a crowd pleaser.
We’re certain that this year’s exhibition will be full of jaw-dropping vistas and images that will make visitors want to jump in their cars, or hop on a train, to explore more of the UK. We’ve visited the last two years’ exhibitions and both times we’ve been overawed by the variety and beauty of the collection.
The Take A View Landscape Photographer of the Year 2012 will be on display in the Lyttelton Foyer of the National Theatre from 12 November to 12 January. Entrance is free.
