Did You See The Little Clay Men On London Bridge?

Did you see the little clay men on London Bridge yesterday morning? Do you know how they got there? They don’t look like Slinkachu but they are little people abandoned in the wild… Did you pick one up and put it in your pocket?

We would like to know – as would James Booth who took this great picture and tweeted it at us. Please leave a comment if you spotted them.

UPDATE: Many thanks to ‘Belle Darling Events’ who has solved the mystery: The miniature figures have been created by artist Lawrence Epps to mark the British Ceramics Biennial (BCB) which opens on Friday.

I was thrilled to spot them on Wednesday on my way to ‘Origins ‘ in Spitalfields.  At 10-30 they were all there and by my return at 4-0pm they had all gone but a couple have travelled with me to Tunbridge Wells

I picked one up on London Bridge and felt no shame – it seemed apparent that these fab little men were there for the taking in the mode if interactive art.  I did stop at one, though!  It’s in my desk drawer at the moment but I hope to find a decent home for him.
