Here’s a neat little diagram. The YourTubeMaps web site has collected together the various Olympic venues in the form of a Tube map. Venues hosting related sports are connected together on the same coloured line.
The plan takes the Tube map’s fondness of distorting geography to epic proportions, with Weymouth appearing north of Wimbledon, and St James’ Park (Newcastle) depicted far to the west of all London’s venues. Further, there seems to be no interchange between the two main branches of the Watersports line. We blame engineering works.
A fun way to almost-but-not-quite contravene two jealously guarded brands.
