An A-Z Of London Sights

AZLonodnprint.jpg

Artist Laura Seaby has created this typographical homage to London, with (reasonably) well-known icons of the city for every letter of the alphabet. The print can be purchased from Keep Calm Gallery for £25. We’re considering getting hold of the print to use as a kind of optician-style visual test for new writers. If you can name all 26, you’re a true Londonista. (That said, we’re struggling with Y.)

I think Y is the Young Vic, but I don’t know what V is

    Couldn’t get F, V or Y.

So (I admit) I cheated – WHampstead is correct with Y.

    V is the V&A.

I’d like to see a bigger version of “Y” but could it be Yes Olde Cheshire Cheese?

Y must be Young Vic. F is Fortnum and Mason’s clock.. and yes V must be V+A

    V is V&A Museum?

    F is Fortnum and Mason…
