Time to Visit: Mayfield Lavender Farm

Remember last year we told you about Mayfield Lavender Farm? Well it's that purple time of year again. You've got just over a month if you want to wander lonely as a cloud through this urban farm's glorious fields. The place is in bloom until around mid-August. Entry is free, and you can take a picnic, go bug hunting, stock up on smellies, or take some pictures - there's an annual prize of £200.00 for the finest.(Image/Mike King)
