Christmas is brought to you by Disney this year with mass sponsorship of the West End Christmas Lights to promote their animated remake of the seasonal classic, A Christmas Carol. Jim Carrey and Colin Firth flicked the switches in shopping central last night while Bob Hoskins was dispatched to a brightly bedecked St Paul's outpost where - inevitably - a Christmas carol singalong further hammered the message home. Kuh, we're not past Bonfire Night yet. Scroodge? You betcha.
