Urban Sightseeing: #12 Under The Bridge

As you exit Holloway Road tube station in the evenings you will see that a lovely green and blue light effect has been installed under the railway bridge to the left. A similar effect has been created in Finsbury Park under the bridge at the bottom end of Stroud Green Road.

Viewed from the ‘right’ angle or against a deep blue sky even the rustiest old bridge can look beautiful. All of the above images, and many more in a similar vein, can be found on Flickr.

    This is my ‘local’ Tube station, and I’ve been meaning to take pictures of these lights for a few days now. Great shots – it really is beautiful, a nice respite now that the flowerboxes on Holloway Road are empty for the winter.
