One late summer's sunny day, Londonist found themselves at Annie's in Chiswick, an eclectically decorated restaurant just a stone's throw from the Thames. Burger cravings overcame us and we overlooked the half lobster special on the menu and ordered the lamb burger with goat's cheese and caramelised onions (pictured above) and their classic cheeseburger with bacon (pictured below, last photo). Wait, let's look at that grilled lamb burger more closely, shall we?

Would you like some lamb with that goat's cheese?! While Londonist won't make any judgements on the best burgers in London, we're happy to presume that at Annie's, they serve burgers with the most generous of cheesy toppings. Similarly, there's no skimping on the cheddar on their cheese and bacon burger below. The burgers were big and tasty and the accompanying chips reassuringly fat and they left no room in our stomachs for their equally generously portioned desserts. We'll be back to try the rest of their menu. Go hungry!
