Review: Ghanaian Food Masterclass

To highlight Cadbury Dairy Milk’s move to using Fairtrade cocoa from Ghana exclusively, Cadbury, the Underground Cookery School and Ghanaian catering company, Jollof Pot, threw a fun and tasty Ghanaian Food Masterclass last night at St Mary’s Church on Eldon Street near Liverpool Street Station (where the Underground Cookery School holds a variety of classes). In the curriculum and on the menu were an exotic assortment of canapés (mackerel and plantains? Yum!), Jollof rice with zebra meat for the main course and, of course, plenty of Cadbury Dairy Milk for dessert. The rice was definitely devourable and was well paired with the lean cuts of zebra. Many of the usual suspects among London food bloggers were on hand for the evening as well as a few new faces. A good time was had by all.
