No strangers to expectant crowds, the Tayyabs folks accommodated us in their VIP lounge and, in a gesture of hospitality, comped our gang of blogospheric critics with a couple of succulently tender legs of lamb. The damage? All twenty-five (or so) of us devoured copious amounts of just about everything on Tayyabs menu for a total of twelve quid a head (and that includes a decent tip – but not any byob purchases). Londonist reckons everything sampled in last night’s spread was pretty good. We especially enjoyed the chops and the naan and thought the leg of lamb was exceptional.
