Vodka with a View

So it’s not all “impotence and humiliation” at Canary Wharf these days. There’s an ice skating rink at Canada Square (until the 22nd of February) and even a stylish and intimate lil fourth floor pop-up bar from which to enjoy watching the ice skating (until the 7th of February; 6pm-10.30pm, Mon-Fri). Located on the terrace at Plateau Restaurant, the Smirnoff Black Winter Ice Lounge is a covered outside bar with thick faux fur blankies for cuddly nights out under the stars (and skyscrapers). It’s kinda Manhattan-y and a nice way to experience Canary Wharf.
