Let it Snow

The odds of a White Christmas for London have been slashed by some bookies today: Ladbrokes are offering 11/4 (whatever that means). Trouble is, on the days when Jack Frost has done his worst (he nearly sent Londonist flying this morning) we feel all nippy and festive, start thinking jingly thoughts and rush along to put our tuppence on snow for the 25th, knowing full well that by next week it’ll be back to the normal non-descript rubbish weather that has defined London’s winters in recent years. Our favourite on-line weather toy gives it a mere 10% chance at the moment. But we can always cross our frost-bitten fingers and hope….
