Shoot & Eat: Oriental City

Roti Canai

Join Londonist on the hunt for some of this town's most photogenic meals.

There are but a few months left before the beloved, run-down shopping centre that is Oriental City will shut its doors for the last time. While there are some who only frequent the few Chinese restaurants within, Londonist would like to pimp the stalls in the food court on the ground floor. Try the roti canai (fluffy Indian bread from Malaysia) from the Roti stand or the char kway teow (fried flat rice noodles in a dark sauce) from the Yong To Fu stall and you'll leave happy. Need dessert? A slushy and fruity beverage from the Thai stall at the corner should do the trick or have some of the egg tarts from one of the dim sum stalls.
