Participants are invited to experience the wonderful world of whisky at trendy cocktail bar The Blend on selected dates throughout October, November and early December. At the bespoke sessions, you'll learn the art of blending from Chivas Regal whisky experts before bottling up your efforts to take home.
Once you've got the inside knowledge from Chivas's master blenders, there will be plenty of opportunities to get your taste buds involved. During the 45 minute session, you'll try both grain and a selection of single malt whiskies, before mastering your own blend.
Each spirit has its own distinctive flavour, from floral and fruity to citrus and smokey. Whatever your preference, you'll end up with something unique, which you'll then bottle up into a beautiful 200ml glass decanter to take home with you.
According to Chivas brand ambassador Phil Huckle, some of the most expensive whiskies in the world — we're talking £150,000 for a bottle — are blended. So get your mix right and you could find yourself on a new career path (or at least have something to impress your mates with next time you have dinner guests).
