The White Horse could equally be called The White House, given its sturdy whitewash exterior. This Fuller's cornerhouse is well away from the tourist areas of Richmond and thus attracts a more local crowd. A large, wooden main room of mis-matched furniture adjoins a small dining area, which leads out into a small but pleasant beer garden.
Beers are the usual Fuller's selection, with plenty of wines to choose from. The food menu offers a strong selection of British classics.
This was the final stop on our seven-venue pub crawl, so we're rather grateful for this 360 degree tour for jogging our memories. Also, kudos to the bar staff who worked out we were coming and had some nibbles ready in advance.
