Have You Spotted This Replica Of Sir Francis Drake's Ship?

It may be a replica, but do not underestimate The Golden Hinde. This full size imitation of Sir Francis Drake's original 1577 vessel (named the Golden Hind) was first launched in 1973 and has since circumnavigated the globe the equivalent of five times. Impressive stuff.

Now moored and on public display since 1996, the vessel hosts workshops and tours, welcoming the public on board seven days a week.

Step aboard The Golden Hinde at St Mary Overie Dock, Cathedral Street, SE1 9DE.
