Four new bus routes are now up and running in west London, as part of TfL's continued overhaul of outer London services.

As of 7 December, the new services are:

  • 278: Ruislip - West Ruislip - Ickenham - Hillingdon - Uxbridge Road - Hayes End - Church Road - Hayes & Harlington - Harlington Corner - Heathrow Airport
  • X140: Harrow Bus Station - South Harrow - Northolt - Yeading - Hayes - Hayes & Harlington station - Harlington Corner - Heathrow Airport Central bus station
  • 218: North Acton - West Acton - Acton High Street - Acton Central - Acton Vale - Askew Road - Hammersmith
  • 306: Acton Vale - Askew Road - Hammersmith - West Kensington - Fulham Broadway - Imperial Road - Sands End Sainsbury's

Three other routes have been extended; the H9 and H10 now serve more parts of Northwick Park Hospital, and the 440 has been extended to Wembley Eastern Lands, and rerouted between Acton and North Acton.

Following a consultation in 2017, new routes started running in south east London earlier this year, while the 48 and RV1 buses were axed.

Full information and timetables can be found on TfL's website.
